This season was my 8th aboard the F/V Icy Bay commercial fishing in Bristol Bay for sockeye salmon. It was another good year for us and was filled with a lot of great moments and the best weather I can remember. This year I partnered with the Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Association to post photos during the fishing season to help them promote the fishery and give seafood consumers and buyers an idea of what the fishery is like. I rented a satellite modem to beam images from the back deck of the F/V Icy Bay to be posted on the BBRSDA website and their social media feeds.
